This is probably the most anticipated drama of the Fall season. It was smart that Tokyo Dogs was placed before it so it can get some viewership too.

Does anyone have the limited edition Tokidoki rainboots? Or know where to get them? Because quite frankly, I've been stalking Nordstroms up and down the West Coast to see whether or not they've been shipped yet? From the looks of things, I might end up not getting a pair, which is double sad for me. I'm thinking if Marc by Marc Jacobs ever made boots to match his umbrellas, I might give it a go instead. Such is life for a fashionista, granted I live in the San Francisco area where it's been barely wet lately. Gosh, global warming sure is a bust when it comes to fashion.
Anywho, I've decided to actually use my Livejournal blog, despite my initial misgivings about actually writing. I mean I've had it since February, wrote only one meaningful post then abandoned it, well, sorta. I only use it to comment and join communities which lets me keep up with the news in the JE world.
Well, what is the JE world? A year ago I would have scoffed and laughed at myself for delving into another fandom to fill the large void left by Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. Yet, here I am one year later am blinded by the sparkly and still going on strong. It has even inspired me how I would dress for Halloween. Check it: www.benettontalk.com/akibakei.jpg
For fans of HnA, you definitely will recognize when Nino and Aiba dressed up like these people and I've thought of deglamorizing myself to make for a fun Halloween. Anywho, two more days 'til this competition I'm heading is over and 10 more days 'til the National Novel Writing Month begins!

Yay me! Maybe this would force me to actually finish what I'm writing. I've had this plot bunny for ages, I haven't punched it out yet. I hope I get it done.

Myself and the internet.
So this week is in New York Fashion Week. How I wish I was in NYC to go see a few runway shows. Too bad, I'm too poor to buy a plane to ticket and a ticket to watch the shows themselves. So in the last week of February, Valentino is having his last runway show before retirement in Paris. How sucky is that? He's retiring before I even get the chance to meet him. Oh well, I guess that's what happens to young fashionistas everywhere. I mean Giorgio Armani died way before his time, I wish I get to wear their clothes one day.
Ok, so here is a few pieces of note that I liked so far, I haven't gotten around at looking at all the shows yet. I think Phillip Lim, Marc Jacobs, Betsey Johnson, DKNY, and Dolce and Gabbana are represented. I'm not posting couture just cause it's too impractical. But I think I got the gist of what's coming in the fall. I think sheer, color saturation and menswear inspired are the trends at least if designers dictate mass consumption.

So far my favorite ensemble is the red blazer skirt combination with gray tights by DKNY. Also, I love how they use hats in their runway show. Way too accessorize! I think I need to find that Marc by Marc Jacobs shirt that says off the deep end. Just totally in love with it.
